This qualification is designed to give an individual who wishes to work in the security Industry at a technical level the skills and knowledge required to competently install an intruder alarm system or CCTV system in a residential or commercial building.

CPPSEC2002A Follow workplace safety procedures in the security industry
CPPSEC2003A Work effectively in the security industry
CPPSEC2020A Provide technical security services to clients
CPPSEC2021A Install security equipment and systems
CPPSEC2026A Perform routine maintenance on security equipment and system
CPPSEC2023A Install CCTV equipment and system

Can be taken individually with an additional bolt on course to complete the qualification and obtain a certificate II in Technical Security.
Class room assessments are accompanied by on the job assessments.
As part of obtaining the qualification Integracom will carry out a site inspection to ensure that the trainee technician has utilised the skills and knowledge gained in the classroom and controlled environment.
Course Delivery
This course is designed to be modular utilising flexible delivery methods.
The three primary units as mentioned above are delivered regularly and mostly in the evenings to allow a trainee technician more flexibility to attend the course without impacting on their working day.
The additional bolt on short course and on the job training are carried out in consultation with the student and their employer.

Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites to attend the course as this course is designed to take a trainee technician through all the necessary steps to obtain this qualification.

Course payments can be broken down into the following units

Recommended Upgrades
The restricted registration cabling course is the minimum cabling registration required to install security cabling. As requirements for more high end cabling becomes more prevalent an Open Registration will be more beneficial to a trainee technician.
Cost of the Upgrade to Open Registration $420.00
Certification
On successful completion of this course the student will be awarded a full Certificate II in Technical Security that also includes a Restricted Telecommunications Cabling License.
