This qualification is designed to give an individual who wishes to work in the security Industry at a technical level the skills and knowledge required to competently install an intruder alarm system or CCTV system in a residential or commercial building.
This qualification includes units within the following courses

communications cabling: ACMA Open Rule
CPPSEC2001A Communicate effectively in the security industry
CPPSEC2002A Follow workplace safety procedures in the security industry
CPPSEC2003A Work effectively in the security industry
CPPSEC2020A Provide technical security services to clients
CPPSEC2021A Install security equipment and systems
CPPSEC2026A Perform routine maintenance on security equipment and system
CPPSEC2023A Install CCTV equipment and system
Course Delivery
This course is designed to be modular utilising flexible delivery methods.
The three primary units as mentioned above are delivered regularly and mostly in the evenings to allow a trainee technician more flexibility to attend the course without impacting on their working day.
The Certificate II in Technical security can also be delivered as part of a six month trainee course. Please contact our office for more information.
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites to attend the course as this course is designed to take a trainee technician through all the necessary steps to obtain this qualification.

Total if booked as a qualification $1900.00 (No GST Applicable)
Certification
On successful completion of this course the student will be awarded a full Certificate II in Technical Security that also includes an Open Telecommunications Cabling License.
